Completed Workshop

The wonders of creating a new space never cease to amaze me.   This personal project was set up as a recycle/reclaim/recondition challenge to myself.  I have spent no more than £850 and 14 months of hunting in skips, exchanging time and swapping materials.  After fitting the double glazing in the sliding doors and installing temporary lighting, I found a use for some old industrial metallic blinds to shelter from the sun when I am working at the computer.   This spirited space will finally support me to conjure ideas and develop models for future sheltered spaces.

The spirit, colour and form using reclaimed materials, has been a constant delight and really brings some Wabi Sabi imperfection to the build.
